Solidarity has no borders – ICE out of Minnesota!

Yesterday, OFL President Laura Walton met with Bernie Burnham, President of Minnesota AFL-CIO to build strategy, and reaffirm our solidarity with the Minnesota AFL-CIO, their affiliated unions, and all working people across the state on marking the Day of Truth and Freedom – ICE Out of Minnesota!

What is unfolding in Minnesota is an emergency with national consequences. In the face of detentions, intimidation, and state violence, working people are responding with resilience and courage. They should never have to confront this alone.

From Ontario, we join in full solidarity with workers in Minnesota and with the broader labour movement responding with care and urgency. This is the strength of Unions. Workers across Ontario will show our neighbours we won’t sit this one out!
