At the Ontario Federation of Labour’s 18th Biennial Convention, delegates elected Laura Walton as President, Ahmad Gaied as Secretary-Treasurer, and Michael Hamilton as Executive Vice-President – a team ready to lead a strong, united, and fighting labour movement across Ontario.
Together, they’re ready to lead with the We Are One: Power Plan created by workers in Ontario, for workers in Ontario – to build and realize our power.
This roadmap was shaped by thousands of voices across the province – through surveys, conversations, town halls, and research. It’s grounded in lived experience, backed by data, and built by those who know firsthand what’s broken and what it will take to fix it.
The Power Plan doesn’t just outline what working people need, it maps how we’ll win it, together.
We loved seeing delegates step up to the mic, debate resolutions, and fight for the future of our movement. That’s what solidarity looks like in action.
