OFL Young Workers’ Assembly ─ ‘Young Workers Rising’ (Nov. 23-24, 2013) | The Ontario Federation of Labour

OFL Young Workers’ Assembly ─ ‘Young Workers Rising’ (Nov. 23-24, 2013)

The OFL Workers Under 30 Committee will be hosting the first Young Workers’ Assembly on November 23 and 24, 2013, immediately preceding the 12th Biennial OFL Convention. This informative and instructive session is open to all young workers and will include a full day of educational sessions and discussion forums, followed by a morning of training for the convention ahead.

The Assembly will provide an opportunity for participants to get to know other young workers in Ontario’s labour movement, discuss relevant issues, share strategies and learn about convention protocols, policies and practices in order to effectively
participate and represent their members.

The Assembly will also provide an opportunity for the OFL Vice-President representing Young Workers an opportunity to hear and respond to the constituency they represent. The Assembly is open to both community and union activists.
