Due to dangerous housing and working conditions, COVID19 outbreak is growing at Ontario’s farms. Hundreds of migrant workers have now been infected and two — Bonifacio Eugenio Romero and Rogelio Muñoz Santos — have died.

Here’s the basic plan:
9:00 am – meet at Christie Pits, Toronto (cars can be decorated there in the morning)
9:45 am – Caravan departs
11:00 am – Caravan arrives in Hamilton (Food Basics, 2500 Barton St E, Hamilton)
11:45 am – Caravan meets at 5005 Ontario St, Beamsville
12:00 noon to 1:00 pm – Solidarity with migrant workers
1:00 pm – Caravan proceeds to Liberal MP for St. Catharines Chris Bittle’s office
1:30 pm – Socially distanced rally outside MP Bittle’s office (61 Geneva St, St. Catharines)
1:45 pm – Event finishes. Cars head home at their own pace
3:00 PM – Back in Toronto
Supporters can meet the caravan and cars can join the caravan in Hamilton, Beamsville, and St. Catharines (at the locations above). PLEASE REGISTER so we know who to expect.
We encourage participants to exercise physical distancing, wear masks, and to bring plenty of water, snacks, and hand sanitizer.
