Every month, employers steal thousands of dollars in wages from workers. They make illegal deductions. They pay less than minimum wage. They delay paycheques. They refuse to pay overtime and vacation pay. They ignore government orders to pay. They abuse, disrespect and mistreat workers.

Enough is enough. Whether in trucking, restaurants, construction or warehouses — wage theft must end. Employers must understand that there will be consequences for stealing from workers.

In the last few months, the Naujawan Support Network’s campaigns against wage thieves have helped recover over $47,000 in stolen wages. This happened because workers got organized, developed strategies and took action for their rights. On December 4, they’re taking the struggle to the next level by connecting workers across different industries and inviting workers from other communities to join us.
