Ontario Nurses’ Association Local 124 invites you to join a vigil to remember those impacted and lost to violence. A call to end violence against women.

WHEN: Tuesday, December 8, 2020 | 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: South side of Davis Drive (Between Roxborough Rd & Prospect St, under the bridge) in Newmarket
Please wear black, wear a mask and social distance.

In December we remember women that have experienced all forms of violence. We remember the December 6 mass shooting of 14 women at L’Ecole Polytechnique. We remember women, nurses and health-care professionals, that have died and been injured as a result of workplace violence. Nurses and health-care professionals experience workplace violence on almost a daily basis at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

First we remember, and then we we fight!

We demand Southlake stop the violence against nurses and health-care professionals.
