Tell the party leaders: We need a workers-first agenda!
On May 10, the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities will host the Northern Leaders’ Debate at 1:00 p.m. at the Capitol Centre, 150 Main Street.
Join the North Bay and District Labour Council and allies for a rally outside the debate.
Rally & March
Tuesday, May 10
11:00 AM: Assemble at SE corner of McIntyre Street East and Wyld Street (map)
11:30 AM: Speeches from labour and community leaders
12:00 PM: March to the Capitol Centre
Confirmed speakers include:
- Janice Folk-Dawson: Executive Vice-President, Ontario Federation of Labour
- Tyler Downey: Secretary-Treasurer, SEIU Healthcare
- J.P. Hornick: President, OPSEU/SEFPO
- Fred Hahn: President: CUPE Ontario
Let’s make sure all four party leaders know what working people and their families are demanding in this election: a $20 minimum wage, decent work, affordable housing, paid sick days, well-funded public services, livable income support for all, climate justice, and an end to racism and oppression.
