May 25 webinar – The new normal: Winning decent work for all under COVID-19

Ontario has changed since COVID-19, creating hardship for many workers and their families. However, what was considered “normal” pre-COVID-19 never really worked for all Ontarians.

Ontario workers, a unified Power of Many, will continue to demand decent work for all, public services for all, justice for all, and healthy and safe workplaces and communities for all.

The new normal: Winning decent work for all under COVID-19 webinar will outline some of the changes ushered in during the Ford government’s first few years in office and then explore the government’s subsequent responses to COVID-19 in Ontario. It will also discuss the need for immediate change and what labour and community activists must continue to demand in order to win decent work in Ontario. The webinar will conclude with a call to collectively organize as well as help inform the OFL’s plan of action in building our vision for the new normal – an Ontario for all.

The New Normal: Winning Decent Work for All under COVID-19 is the first in a webinar series rooted in the four pillars of the OFL Power of Many campaign: decent work for all, public services for all, justice for all, and healthy and safe workplaces and communities for all.
