A People First Agenda: Help & Hope, An International Women’s Day Discussion with MPP Jill Andrew & MPP Peggy Sattler

COVID-19 has taken a toll on women, especially those who face intersecting barriers and discrimination. Let’s talk about what groundwork we need to do to ensure we have a government that applies a gender-equity lens across everything and removes barriers and injustices for women.

On Monday, March 8, 4:00pm – 5:30pm, join the Ontario Federation of Labour for a town hall discussion with NDP Women’s Issues Critic MPP Jill Andrew and NDP Pay Equity Critic MPP Peggy Sattler.

MPP’s Andrew and Sattler will discuss the work they are doing to address barriers to women’s safety and progress (i.e., gender-based violence, lack of affordable housing, access to childcare, misclassification of contract workers, pay equity legislation, economic security, etc.) and what their initiatives are going towards the 2022 provincial election.
