In recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, let’s talk about 2SLGBTQI+ issues, and the groundwork we need to lay to ensure we have a government that is inclusive and promotes the advancement of human rights and the improvement of socio-economic outcomes for 2SLGBTQI+ people.

On Monday, May 17, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., join the Ontario Federation of Labour for an International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia Town Hall discussion with NDP LGBTQ Issues Critic Terence Kernaghan and NDP MPP Toronto—St. Paul’s Jill Andrew.

MPPs Kernaghan and Andrew will discuss the work they are doing to address 2SLGBTQI+ issues (i.e., violence, discrimination and prejudice, hate crimes, ban on blood donation by men who have sex with men, access to coverage for gender-affirming transitions, HIV/AIDS, sex work, advocacy for 2SLGBTQI+ seniors) and their initiatives going towards the 2022 provincial election.
