A People First Agenda: Help & Hope, A Health & Safety Discussion

In recognition of the National Day of Mourning, let’s talk about workplace health and safety, the human cost of COVID-19, and the groundwork we need to lay to ensure we have a government that prioritizes people over profit and does their job to protect workers so workers don’t die doing their jobs.

On Tuesday, April 27, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., join the Ontario Federation of Labour for a Town Hall discussion on health and safety with NDP Health and Safety Critic Wayne Gates and NDP Labour Critic Peggy Sattler.

MPPs Gates and Sattler will discuss the work they are doing to address worker health and safety issues (i.e., paid sick days, access to proper personal protection equipment, proactive frontline workplace inspections, workplace testing, full immigration status for migrant workers) and their initiatives going towards the 2022 provincial election.
