WoodGreen on strike! Picket line visit from OFL President Sid Ryan.
Workers United Local 154 at WoodGreen On Strike!
After months of negotiations, workers from WoodGreen Community Services, voted on October 8th to take strike action after refusing the employer’s latest contract offer. It has been a bitter negotiation process marked by hostility and intimidation towards the bargaining team and workers by the employer.
WoodGreen Community Services is one of the largest community agencies in Toronto, with over 500 workers in 32 locations. Workers represent: early childhood educators, housing workers, settlement workers, personal support workers, ESL instructors, and many others.
