Greetings!
We’re writing to you to make an urgent appeal to attend the Rally for Decent Work at Queen’s Park on October 1st at 1:00 p.m.
Thousands of workers and community members will come together to demand decent jobs for all Ontarians, a fairer economy and a better province. You have the opportunity to join the growing movement for decent work for all.
The rally will kick off the Week for Decent Work from October 1-7 here in Ontario.
We, the undersigned labour leaders, are asking you to be at this important rally, raise your flag and your voice in support of decent work and hope for a better shared future. This year, the Ontario government is reviewing our employment laws for the first time in a generation. Now is the time to let the government know that Ontario workers expect real change!
Join us on October 1st to call on the government to create an economy built on good jobs for all.
Please take a moment to RSVP on facebook and spread the word among your friends, family and co-workers. Also included here is the poster for the rally to put up on your union bulletin board. There is still time to get on a bus from your area, headed to Queen’s Park. Find the bus list here.
Thank you for your activism and we look forward to seeing you there.
