The Ontario Government has launched public community meetings to hear from the public and organizations on addressing systemic racism and eliminating barriers for Indigenous and racialized communities.
Michael Coteau, Minister Responsible for Anti-Racism, will host nine public community meetings to hear from Ontarians about how to address systemic racism and implement meaningful change.
The OFL urges unions across Ontario to participate in the Anti-Racism Directorate public hearings across the province. Attached is a briefing note which includes a background, consultation locations and OFL Asks.
