The time for real climate action is now! From record-setting heat waves, floods, wildfires, droughts, and growing food insecurity to the fossil-fuel driven economic crisis, it’s clear that the window for urgent action to limit global warming to the United Nations target of 1.5°C is closing fast!
We all have a direct stake in building the movement for Climate Justice. This means:
- Organizing with allies for rapid decarbonization focused on #PeopleNotProfit.
- Working to ensure that working people and those most affected by the climate crisis have a real voice and a central role in planning and building a safer, greener, more just future for us all.
- Demanding a Just Transition, in which ALL WORKERS have access to good, green, unionized jobs, and the quality public services we all need to build fair, sustainable, and inclusive communities.
