Repeal Bill 124: Press Conference & Action

In 2019, the Ontario Federation of Labour, along with a coalition of unions, filed lawsuits against the Ford government’s Bill 124, which caps public sector compensation at one percent. The court case will finally commence next week.

Join us on the first day of the court hearing, Monday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m., for a press conference and action on the front steps of the Superior Court of Justice. This is our chance to show that the Ford government is not working for workers.

Bill 124 is a blatant attack on workers’ right to free and fair collective bargaining. It disproportionately impacts women workers, including racialized women who are among the lowest paid and most precariously employed.
