Members of CUPE 2361, caretaking, landscape services, and trades workers at Western University are on strike as of Friday August 30. These workers are struggling with an understaffing crisis caused by low wages and high workloads. Western University administration has not taken action to deal with the understaffing crisis. Staffing levels and wages must be urgently raised to keep up with growth and the rising cost of living, and to ensure a healthy campus experience for staff, students and researchers alike.
Send an email here to the administration to demand fair wages for these workers which keep the campus running.
Join them at the picket lines. Picket lines go up at 7:00 AM every day at Western University, the Main gate.
