Right when they need our support the most, Ford has used Bill 124 to freeze health care workers’ wage increases for 3 years—pushing many burnt-out workers out of our province or out of the health care system altogether.
At the same time, Bill 195 has empowered employers to attack frontline workers’ labour rights and is unnecessarily adding to the burn-out of health care workers.
This reckless and shortsighted decision by Ford’s Conservatives is putting Ontarians’ health in jeopardy and pushing our hospitals to the brink.
