Access to clean drinking water is a basic human right. Yet, many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities continue to lack safe drinking water, including the Neskantaga First Nation that has been waiting for clean water since 1995.
Lack of access to clean and safe drinking water is a harsh expression of systemic environmental racism, and justice delayed is justice denied.
Demand clean drinking water for all, including Ontarians living and working on reserves, to ensure that First Nations have access to safe, clean drinking water.
Access to clean and safe drinking water for all can’t wait. Email your MPP to demand clean drinking water for all now.
