Its a newly certified workplace and we are trying to get a first time collective agreement and the Employer is wanting to change how the benefits are applied and they fall under Bill 124 so the Employer is maintaining their position on a .5% wage increase each year of a two year agreement instead of the max allowable of 1% per to workers who have not had a wage increase in over 10 yrs. Also they want change in the workplace regarding lack of leadership and a toxic work environment.
