UOIT faculty association (UOITFA) members at Ontario Tech University are on strike and need your support. After over 9 months of bargaining with the Ontario Tech administration, the university still refuses to meaningfully address faculty members’ concerns around workload, education quality, equity, and retirement benefits.
Send an email to Ontario Tech University’s senior leadership. Tell them to return to the bargaining table and take the necessary steps to end the strike. Together, we can get a fair deal that ends the strike.

UOITFA picket lines will be active Monday – Friday, from 11 am – 3 pm at the Ontario Tech North Campus. We invite labour allies to come out to say hi. We also welcome messages of solidarity online and in writing. Letters can be emailed to office@uoitfa.ca.
