CUPE Local 4948, representing workers at the Toronto Public Library, have been leading the fight against precarious work in the city.

Library workers at a critical stage in bargaining with the library board, with a strike/lockout deadline of 12:01 am this Monday. It could go either way in the next few days, and they need your help!

Bring the family this Saturday at a Teddy Bears Picket in support of Toronto Public Library Workers!

There will be music, readings by children’s authors, face painting and other kid’s activities, as well as special appearances by prominent library supporters.
