Enabling Canadians to easily and independently locate occupational health and safety information provided by the federal, provincial and territorial governments of Canada and by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety.
CCOHS promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing information and advice about occupational health and safety.
Information on ocupational health and safety legislation in Canada, more specifically on the jurisdiction of the federal government and provinces and territories in that field, joint health and safety committees, health and safety representatives, the workers right to refuse dangerous work, enforcement orders of health and safety officers/inspectors and the issue of violence in the workplace.

The Office of the Worker Advisor is an indepedent agency of the Ontario Ministry of Labour. The OWA provides free services to non-unionized injured workers and their survivors in workplace insurance matters (formerly called workers’ compensation).
Ontario’s designated occupational health and safety “training centre” offering services and help in six locations.
The WSIB oversees Ontario’s workplace safety education and training system, provides disability benefits, monitors the quality of health care, and assists in early and safe return to work.
