American Federation of Labor - Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO)

The AFL-CIO represents 13 million member affiliated unions. Its mission is to improve the lives of working families and bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to the nation.

International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers’ Unions (ICEM)

Representing 20 million workers in 225 nations, the ICEM fights worldwide for the rights of working people in the chemical, energy, mining, cement, paper and pulp, and environmental service industries.

International Labour Organization (ILO)

The ILO is the United nations specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. It was founded in 1919.

International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)

The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) is the main international trade union organisation, representing the interests of working people worldwide. It has 304 affiliated member organisations in 153 countries and territories, with a total membership of 168 million workers. The ITUC was founded at its inaugural Congress in Vienna, Austria, on 1-3 November 2006. 

Public Services International (PSI)

PSI unites public sector workers in more than 600 trade unions in over 140 countries. Twenty million women and men in a variety of public service jobs are members of PSI.

Trade Union Advisory Committee to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development

The Trade Union Advisory Committee (TUAC) to the OECD is an interface for labour unions with the OECD. It is an international trade union organisation which has consultative status with the OECD and its various committees.

Trades Union Congress (United Kingdom) TUC

The TUC is the voice of Britain at work. With more than 70 member unions representing nearly seven million working people from all walks of life. The TUC campaigns for a fair deal at work and for social justice at home and abroad.
