Grand Slam: Rogers vs. its Technicians!

Tennis season is in full swing at the Rogers Cup, but one of the most unreported matches is taking place between the telecommunication giant and the technicians that deliver its services. Some of Rogers’ technician staff have been on strike for two months in a bid to secure a first work contract.
Join us, come tell Rogers to treat its employees right!

About 300 Rogers technicians that work for DHT and INTEK are currently on strike. These technicians work in the GTA and are trying to get a first collective agreement. Over a year ago, the technicians collectively decided to unionize with the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) and are still being refused a first contract.

On Sunday August 12, 2012 the final game of the high profile Rogers Cup tennis tournament will be taking place at the Rexall Centre at York University.
We will be present at the entrance of the Rogers Cup game calling on DHT and INTEK to offer more stable and decent working conditions for the technicians they rely on and to get back to the table.

Please join us, we need your help in a info picket line at the Rexall Centre for the Rogers Cup Final.
