Violence In The Workplace Regulation
Campaign Lobby Kit
Violence Awareness Days
There are a number of days throughout the year that can be used as opportunities to raise awareness on the issue of violence in the workplace and help change the way we, as a society, think about the issue.
March 8th - International Women’s Day
April 28th - Annual Day of Mourning for Workers who have been killed or injured at work
November 25th - Annual International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
December 6th - National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
The White Ribbon campaign runs from Nov. 25 to Dec. 6 each year

Letters to the editor have a better chance of getting printed if they are tied to a current event such as one of the days listed
above or when a violent act in a local workplace makes the news.
