The Ontario Federation of Labour is calling on all affiliates to rally on Saturday, October 5 in support of CUPE Local 4616 members in Bonfield, Ontario. These sisters and brothers, who provide municipal services to support people in the township, were forced into a defensive strike on August 1. The employer was demanding major concessions and threatened to impose terms and conditions at the close of bargaining. Earlier this month, the mayor fired 5 of the 16 workers. Take a stand for fairness! Take a stand against concessions! Take a stand against bullying!

Where: Bonfield Municipal Town Hall, 365 Highway 531 (off Highway 170)
