With the Good Jobs Summit taking place in less than a month in Toronto, Unifor has added many great new speakers to the line-up! The Summit will kick off Friday with a panel featuring Unifor Economist Jim Stanford; Centre of Policy Alternatives Ontario Director Trish Hennessy; Globe and Mail columnist and financial expert Preet Banerjee and others.

Also speaking will be CNN commentator, green jobs advocate and former advisor to US President Barack Obama, Van Jones; Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne; former Mayor of Toronto and President and CEO of the World Wildlife Federation Canada David Miller; GE President and CEO Elyse Allan; Canadian Labour Congress President Hassan Yussuff and many others.

In the afternoon on Saturday, we’ll be hearing from you in the interactive workshops on a variety of topics where participants will have the chance to shape the Good Jobs Summit framework and action plan.
