National Day of Action to support Tim Hortons Workers

The pressure on Tim Hortons, and the parent company Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI), is heating up. This past Monday, a delegation of community activists, faith based leaders and the labour movement delivered a letter to RBI CEO Daniel Schwartz at their headquarters in Oakville. Our group demanded he reverse the cuts made to workers in dozens of Tim Hortons locations. Right next door at an RBI owned Tim Hortons, nearly 100 activists delivered roses to the workers and rallied in their support. We’re getting creative and it won’t stop there!

THIS FRIDAY, January 19, there will be events across Ontario and across Canada in support of Tim Hortons workers. In partnership with the Fight for $15, the Canadian Labour Congress and labour federations across Canada, we are mobilizing!
