The Ontario Federation of Labour and the Fight for $15 and Fairness are co-hosting online decent work organizing meetings every 4 weeks.
The COVID-19 crisis has put a spotlight on the unacceptable wages and working conditions of the front-line workers who keep us fed, cared for, and protected. Whether we are farm workers or couriers, health workers or cleaners, security guards or garbage collectors, union or non-union workers — every single one of us deserves decent wages and working conditions, including paid sick days, health and safety, and proper protective equipment.
On Tuesday, July 21 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, please join the Ontario Federation of Labour and the Fight for $15 and Fairness for another online organizing meeting. We will assess our work so far and plan next steps. The protections we win today will lay the foundation for a decent work future for everyone.

The next online meeting is taking place on Tuesday, August 18 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. You can register now (insert Power of Many website link) and invite your co-workers and friends.
We use these meetings to organize for:
- Safe and healthy workplaces (Status for all workers; Employer-paid PPE; Social distancing at work and in all staff quarters; Employer-paid sick leave; Right to refuse unsafe work)
- Employer-paid sick days for all (At least 7 paid sick days permanently, and an additional 14 days during health outbreaks)
- Decent income for all (Extend CERB; Fix EI; Make pandemic pay permanent; Raise the minimum wage)
- Strong communities (Food security; Affordable housing; Accessible public transit; Solidarity)
Save the dates! Our upcoming online organizing meetings are scheduled from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on: September 15, and October 13.
